Venue Information

The majority of our courses are based in Scotland but over the past few years we have been asked to provide courses throughout the British Isles including Newcastle, Winchester, Durham, Leeds, Cheltenham and “overseas” to Belfast, Cork and Dublin!
(If we do not currently have a course scheduled in your area, please contact us and we will let you know if we are to be in your region).

The courses are held in central locations and are timetabled between 9.15am and 4pm allowing travel time for those coming from outwith the area.

Our Edinburgh and Glasgow venues are accessible from all over the UK with the introduction of economy airline flights to both cities.
Booking of advance Apex fares also makes train travel very cost effective.

Here are some of the venues that we have used regularly over the past few years and some new 2011 additions:

EDINBURGH
In 2010 we were very sad to have to say farewell to our popular St Colm's House venue, however we are pleased to introduce a new facility in the same area of town.

The Carlton Bridge Centre is a new purpose built venue designed for the Carlton Bridge Club (yes - card game!) They have excellent teaching facilities with in-house catering to suit our needs. Situated near the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh it is easily accessible by bus or train - if you don't like the idea of negotiating Edinburgh traffic!
The web link above will take you their web page with an interactive map to show you the exact location.

GLASGOW
Glasgow, House for an Art Lover 2011 finds us discovering a new Glasgow venue which will provide a peaceful and artistic setting for the courses. House For an Art Lover is a popular venue for weddings and special occassions but they now provide facilities for teaching and training events. Set in lovely gardens and with in-house catering, we are confirdent that this will prove to be one of our best venues yet!

WINCHESTER - the historic setting of Winchester Cathedral is where you will find the Paul Woodhouse Suite set within the tranquil Visitors' Centre. Only 10 minutes walk from the railway station so a perfect venue for our visits "down south"

LEEDS - For our 2010 course we are delighted to be heading back to the excellent facilities provided by the Prout Conference Centre - attached to St Gemma's Hospice. We are always assured of a very professional and warm welcome in this lovely facility - one of our best venues!

DURHAM - is the newer additions to our TREC destinations. The teaching and conference facilities are part of Durham University and are just a 15 minute walk or very short taxi ride from the railway station.
