TREC Immunisation Update – half day CPR not included
This half day update has been developed in response to requests from health care professionals who require general immunisation training but are not working in the field of travel health. The training will run from 1330-1630.
It is designed for health professionals who have previously undertaken immunisation training and are looking to update and expand their current knowledge. The focus of teaching will be UK based vaccines for adults. Whilst the UK national immunisation schedule will be touched upon, this update is not suitable for those that are looking for an update covering immunisations within the childhood programme. CPR, anaphylaxis and legalities surrounding immunisations are not covered. Should you require these to be included in your training then we would suggest that you attend our full day immunisation update.
The content is based on training requirements as recommended within the National Minimum Standards for Immunisation Training Guidance. We will concentrate the information on UK adult vaccines e.g. Hep B, Flu, Varicella, Tetanus etc so anticipate that it will be of relevance to occupational health staff or any other health care professionals providing immunisation and vaccine advice to adults. Please note that travel risk assessment is not covered on this course. This is covered on our Travel Health Course.
